Hello

Well folks, before I share I have to advise you that there is now Privacy policy on my Stitching Blog to comply with the EU GDPR which covers and refers to both my blogs. Click on the link on my sidebar to read it and make your decision.
All of these changes far far away have had an effect here too. One being no email notifications when you lovely people leave me a comment....hopefully that will be remedied soon. I will pop back and check regularly and I thank you in advance.
NOW ART!
I loved working on my latest completed work "Hide and Seek". Another attempt to utilise my Pan Pastels for background work.
I used several different reference photos I had taken plus some imaginings to create this piece.
Of course a finish means a beginning......very early workings.
You may just be able to pick out the baby cygnets. I took the reference photo at Mildura in 2016 when the mighty Murray River was in flood.....loved watching this Mama and her babies. Really hoping to make this one work.
A little "thought" Creativity comes in lots of different clothes.
Cooking a delicous meal, laying a beautiful table, writing, singing, music, dancing, gardening, art, writing a heartfelt letter, making a quilt, embroidery, sharing a yoga class, telling a good yarn.....to name but a few!

Restoration

Hello fellow creatives and nature lovers. I have returned from my lovely relaxing break away......beside the beautiful Brunswick River.
Sometimes less is more and I didn't do a lot of sketching.....more observing nature around me.....loved the locals....so entertaining.
And then so magical at dusk.
As I have said before I am not a quick sketcher so as the fauna would not stay still for me, I enjoyed sketching from life a Beach Hibiscus flower and a fresh and aging leaf in my journal.
I visited my Brother and SIL who are not too far from where we choose to stay. It was a real treat to see my Pandanus piece I did for them all framed up and looking lovely and enjoy a delicious lunch cooked by my Brother.

My Brother is getting a little collection of lovely art featuring his favourite Pandanus.
It was lovely to restore mind, body and soul and even nicer to appreciate that special place called HOME.
